At the June Board meeting, Mr. Kenneth Bryant was honored for his years of service to the Greenburgh Graham UFSD's Board of Education.
Acting Superintendent Dara Joseph shared heartfelt comments about Mr. Bryant's commitment to bettering Greenburgh Graham:
"Now, if you’ve ever sat in a meeting with Ken, you know a few things to be true.
One: He will bring a perspective you didn’t think of.
Two: you'll always leave feeling like you learned something.
And three: if you ever need an analogy involving finance, space travel, or the nature of
the universe... Ken is your guy.
Ken Bryant is not your average board member. He’s a Harvard graduate. A Wharton
graduate. A financial mind of the highest caliber. And yet in every meeting, in every
exchange, what you see first isn’t the pedigree, but the person: thoughtful, grounded,
and fiercely committed to justice.
Ken brought the brainpower of Sidereal Capital to our humble board meetings. He
helped us think about long-term systems, the big picture, and how to move our district
with purpose and precision.
And of course, there’s his smile huge, warm, unforgettable. His laugh? Infectious. If
you were lucky enough to catch both in one meeting, you knew it was a good day."
Mr. Bryant, thank you for your time, your heart, and your humor. We will miss your voice, but
we will carry forward in the work we do every day.
