Ms. Cicalo's class enjoyed some special end-of-the-year events, made possible by Ms. Cicalo and her supportive teaching staff and 1:1 aides. Activities to commemorate the students' hard work included a Publishing Party, where students shared their published narratives by reading aloud to classmates and peers, as well as a "moving up" celebration for students moving on to middle school. Ms. Cicalo shared that she was "so proud of their narratives and will have them available in her classroom library for anyone to read!" Students in the moving-up ceremony received certificates and were celebrated with a party for all of their great accomplishments.
